1Medical are seeking the assistance of a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to work in TAS.

I am working with the Royal Hobart Hospital who are looking for a locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist from 1st July until 30th September. They will look at shorter term availability but longer availability is preferable.
The daily rate of pay will be between $2300 - $2500 depending on experience. Flights and accommodation will be provided.
The Royal Hobart Hospital is Tasmania’s largest hospital and the major referral centre for the State. It has a tertiary neonatal intensive care unit and can care for extreme preterm and most surgical infants.
The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at RHH offers a comprehensive service including 24-hour labour ward coverage with around 2000 births per annum.
It provides outpatient high risk obstetric management including fetal diagnosis with CVS and amniocentesis, advanced ultrasound, a preterm birth prevention clinic, and weekly obstetric endocrine clinic.
Fetal medicine and ultrasound clinics are held twice a week.
A pre-pregnancy counselling and perinatal loss clinic is held weekly.
The inpatient management of complex obstetric patients is undertaken by a senior obstetric Fellow and core RANZCOG training registrar, under the supervision of the maternal fetal medicine specialist.
On call labour ward coverage is once per fortnight, with weekend cover as rostered.
Weekly education session and multidisciplinary meetings occur within the department with protected time for registrar teaching and administration.
The locum must have ultrasound qualifications (i.e. DDU or CMFM) for performing and reporting obstetric ultrasound.
